Leah Remini- Kevin Can Wait
Not sure if anyone watches Kevin James' new show, Kevin Can Wait, but Leah Remini did a guest appearance last week.
I was shocked at what she did to her face. I saw her recently on her Scientology Documentary and it was nowhere near this
She must have had work done very recently, but it was actually a little disturbing.
It doesn't help that we have been watching reruns of King of Queens every night lately- so I am used to seeing her back then.... it was a bit of a shock.
More proof that you shouldn't mess with you face.

I watched and I just thought she looked heavier and something looked different about her mouth- I thought it was her teeth. They both look different from King of Queens, but still great together.

Her mouth and her eyes...almost like she couldn't open them fully. Squinty.
And I was thinking it was some recent work that hadn't had a chance to "settle" because it almost looked swollen or puffy to me.
Her face was definitely messed with

Omg yes! I noticed it too. I don't watch the show but I saw a commercial and I actually gasped out of horror for what she did to her beautiful face. Why?! Why don't these people realize looking like an older version of yourself, even if you look like a shar pei is INFINITELY better than THIS! I thought I remembered hearing or reading years ago that she was against this stuff. I guess she changed her mind at the sight of the first fine line.
I noticed a change when I watched her documentary but this is just horrifying now. That bottom pic!

I did watch it.
I dont think she had surgery per se; I just think she did a lot of Botox before her appearance on the show. I think a lot of LA actresses just don't know when to stop. Or think they look better when they inject crap in their face.
Even her acting sucked. So disappointed!

She looked absolutely horrible. I was yelling at the tv. WHY do celebs do tear apart their face until they look like monsters? Do they really think they look better? Leah was a beautiful woman and didn't even look "old." Ugh.

I didnt watch but my husband did. Said she couldn't open her mouth when she talked. I saw parts of the Scientology special and she looked fine. She had way too much work done

Yeah J Lo looks great. I was watching Shades of Blue last night and her skin is just perfect. And always looks so dewy too!

After we watched the second episode of her two part guest appearance, I said to DH, "And I think the lesson to be learned here is- DON"T EFF WITH YOUR FACE!"
It never goes well.
Facial Plastic surgery seems to not be perfected yet.
Maybe in another 20 or 30 years....

'Kevin Can Wait’ drops Erinn Hayes, adds Leah Remini to core cast
In a surprise cast move that no one appeared to have seen coming -- including the actress herself -- Erinn Hayes has been dropped from “Kevin Can Wait.”
In a tweet Saturday, Hayes -- who played spouse, Donna, to Kevin James’ Kevin Gable -- wrote, “True, I’ve been let go from the show. Very sad, I had a great experience season 1. Thank you for all the support from our wonderful fans.”
So the obvious question: Why? “Kevin can Wait” is a family sitcom -- James’ first in a decade -- and the departure of Hayes’ Donna means the family unit is no more. The return of Remini -- of course Carrie Heffernan over “The King of Queens’” long run -- suggests that “Kevin” is about to be rebooted back to the future, or at least in the general direction of James’ old comedy hit, “King of Queens.” (CBS said Remini will continue to play the character she introduced the series finale, an uncover police offer named Vanessa Cellucci.)
The impending creative makeover poses another question, too: Will “Kevin” continue to originate from Bethpage’s Gold Coast studios, where it had become the first prime-time sitcom in history to have been produced at a Long Island venue? James agreed to return to TV on the condition that the show tape near his home in Long Island. A spokeswoman for CBS could not be reached immediately for comment.
Showrunners appeared to have set up some sort of series’ redirect in the finale, when Donna said she had quit her job as a school nurse. Because her husband is also unemployed (or semiretired), that left another little hanging question: Would he then go back to work as a cop? The website TVLine, which first broke news of the Hayes’ departure on Saturday, said sources only indicated that the show would undergo “a new creative direction” next season.
Freshman ratings were fine -- about 9 million viewers on average -- but clearly not fine enough. James’ return to CBS was accorded top priority by CBS chief Leslie Moonves, who even sat in on table reads. One of the showrunners left early in the season as tinkering continued. CBS proclaimed “Kevin” network television’s highest rated new comedy, but given the anemic state of network TV comedies these days – and especially last year’s freshman crop -- that hardly amounted to much of an endorsement. Clearly the network had hoped for bigger-and-better here.
Sucks for Erinn Hayes. Guess they're trying to cash in on the reboots. Hoping Leah with give it a King of Queens feel.

I wasn't a fan of his wife on the show. I thought she was not a great actress and I thought she was just awkward and gawky.
But I didn't love Leah either. I feel like I couldn't stop focusing on her face and how bad she looked. I feel like the voice was the same as Carrie, but she effed with her face so much that it ruined it for me. I wasn't feeling their chemistry anymore- I think because I watch reruns of the King of Queens all the time and this just felt like a cheap crappy version of what they were in the past.

But I didn't love Leah either. I feel like I couldn't stop focusing on her face and how bad she looked. I feel like the voice was the same as Carrie, but she effed with her face so much that it ruined it for me. I wasn't feeling their chemistry anymore- I think because I watch reruns of the King of Queens all the time and this just felt like a cheap crappy version of what they were in the past.
I only saw a few episodes. I don't care for it at all. I feel like it's just him playing Doug. Same character to me.
I did see one episode with Leah and agree with you. I couldn't focus on anything other than her face.
This change definitely won't have me tuning in.

Feel bad for the actress that plays Donna. I didn't dislike her. I wonder how they are going to explain her absence. Hope they keep Chale because he cracks me up.
