We need a new roof, does anyone have recommendations?
We got one quote for what I would think is a top of the line roof at 24k  hoping we dont need to spend that much
ETA - we are located in East Meadow

We used Westbury Roofing and Siding for both our roof and our siding. They were reasonable, quick, neat, and did a good job.

HIGHLY recommend Brett from Full House Design.
He's actually doing my house right now and also put up a gable over my entry way. It's a family business, brothers and father. I plan to use them to do my whole house one day.

When you ask for a recommendation, how do you know someone isn't recommending their son, father, or husband? I see the same recommendations and have a feeling people are recommending their relatives. Of course, recommendations could also be unbiased, but how do you know?

i have this same problem!!! I've gotten a lot of recommendations from family members. I usually ask how do you know them.
I can guarantee i'm not related to Brett LOL I found him on facebook. He did some small jobs for me and then big ones. He's the only guy I'll let work on my house from now on.
