Hospital bedrest
Hi ladies. My cervix just keeps shortening. Now it's at .5 so last night I was admitted to the hospital until the babies come. I was put on mag sulfate too for the babies. Please pray I keep these babies in longer. I'm only 24 weeks 6 days. I know this is probably for the best but I am not thrilled to be living in the hospital. But at the same time the babies safety and health come first. This has just been such a hard journey for my DH and I. First with loosing one of the triplets and now this. Prayers and lots of prayers are needed!

You're in the best, safest place you could be. I know it's not ideal, but it's for the best. Get some good mags, watch some movies, have visitors. Stay positive.

What hospital are you in? I was on hospital bed rest too, and I think you and I are in a Facebook group together... I will be reaching out to you by FM.
I am sorry you're in this position, everything about it sucks. You are already past the point of viability although things are very precarious at 24 weeks. My baby was born at 26 weeks and had her challenges but is doing amazingly well now. I have friends who had 24* week boy twins and have no lasting issues at ALL, you would never know by looking at any of our kids that they were preemies. Having done the whole NICU thing, I have a small army of preemie parents with similar success stories. Every day that you stay pregnant greatly increases your chances of having a healthier baby so try to hang in there!
(I edited this because I accidentally wrote 22 week instead of 24 weeks... which kind of thing drove me nuts when I was pregnant and a new preemie mom!)

What hospital are you at? So sorry to hear all of this, but it is for the best. Prayers for a healthy delivery. I know people who delivered at 28-32 weeks and all babies are very healthy with no complications. Hope those babies get to stay in there for awhile longer though..

I'm sorry you've had such a rough pregnancy! You are definitely in the best place you could be right now for the health and safety of both you and those babies. I hope those babies stay put for a while longer. Always thinking about you!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I have a friend who went through the same thing you did (lost one triplet early in the pregnancy) and then around your time.....had an issue with her cervix. She was put on home bed rest and was actually able to keep them in until the early 31-32 week mark. Now she has two healthy boys!
How are the babies measuring?

I'm on the Facebook group too. The magnesium is rough, I'm going to be honest. It stings terribly and made me feel like I had a bad flu. Have you had the FFN test? Thankfully you are past the age of viability.
Please get rest. When I was discharged after my first scare and I pushed myself in the slightest, my water just broke. It is so scary, so please reach out to us preemie moms for support if you need anything. I'll be thinking of you and your family.

Thank you everyone for your love and support. This is such a difficult pregnancy and my DH and I are so worried about everything. But yes everyday is a blessing and each week that goes by and I keep them inside is amazing! Made it to 25 weeks today! Gotta try and relax and stay happy.
I found out from my parents that my baby shower was supposed to be yesterday so I'm kinda bummed out about that.. my mom spoke to the nurses at the hospital and they said there is a room here and that I could still do a baby shower here! So we might just do that.
You ladies are the best for support and advice. I honestly can't thank you enough!

A shower sounds like the perfect way to brighten your spirits I'm glad they have space to accommodate it.
Glad to hear you're hanging in there, and 25 weeks is a great milestone. You've got this.

Thank you everyone. Been in the hospital a week tomorrow. So on Sunday I will be 26 weeks. Trying to stay calm and happy! I'm thankful that they are staying quite and not coming out yet!
