Where did you get your child evaluated? Cohens has a 7 month waiting time for an appt

This looks like for psych disorders not learning disability evals?
ADD/ADHD is within the realm of psych disorders as is a learning disability. NYU has different teams dediacted to different things. See below:

Specialized Evaluations
Our team offers several types of individualized evaluations to pinpoint the source of your child’s challenges. For example, we may perform a psychiatric evaluation to understand your child’s emotional and behavioral difficulties, and determine a diagnosis and create a treatment plan.
For children who struggle academically or face challenges related to giftedness, our experts at the Institute for Learning and Academic Achievement, diagnose learning challenges and the effects of brain injury through neuropsychological, psychological, and psychoeducational evaluations.
For children with symptoms of autism spectrum disorder or social communication disorder, we have a dedicated Autism Spectrum Disorder Service. As part of treatment, we can observe your child in the classroom and work with school personnel.

We went to a neurologist and a neuropsychologist for testing. South Shore Neurology in Patchogue.

We just went to NYULangone Dr Smith office. He has a NP working with him now, so less wait. To see him, it was August appointment back in march. We got an appointment with his NP within 2 weeks
