we did it with the breakfast at hollywood studio and without breakfast at disneyland. It can be done without breakfast.
we were there 30 minutes before gate open - i do sunscreen why i wait at gate - then i walked as fast as i could to the sign up - my husband pushed the stroller with our 3 boys - age 4, 4, and 6 we got there with plenty of time to pick our own time slot - do not pick the first one - pick a little later this way you can get a few rides in before the show. I would run with the 5 year old - the 14 year old is too old -send the14 year old to rock in roller coaster directly and fast pass toy story
you can not fast pass jedi training the five year old has to be with you at sign uo there is a line for sign up but they take a good amount of kids but it must be the first thing you do when you go in go to the left - you will see people walking fast to jedi training - just be there well before gate opening because they sometimes move people through the gates early

We did breakfast - because we were planning to do it. I walked out with my DS at 8:30 and signed right up.
T-Rex and Rainforest are similar but, different. One is rainforest themed while the other is dinosaur themed. We liked the food choices better at T-Rex.

I second all of this!
I also wanted to add this spurred my son's Star Wars obsession. Both DH & I were quite jealous that he was able to battle Darth Vader. Also - GET MEMORY MAKER - they get the best photos if you're doing Jedi Training!
