Do you like your dh/so when pregnant?
The other birth board that I'm on had this topic and I find it very interesting. Some women can't be close enough to their other halves when pregnant and others wish their dh's would disappear for 9 months because everything they do grates on their nerves.
My witching hour is 730pm. Dh can breathe and it annoys me. I don't remember him bugging me this month last pregnancy but he can't say anything right after 730pm. My ob just laughed and said hormones are a *****. She couldn't stand her dh her first pregnancy but couldn't get enough of him her 2nd pregnancy.

nope couldn't stand him lol... right after dd was born, we were the closest we've ever been. That lasted like 2 weeks and then the real stress/sleep deprivation set in and I couldn't stand him again lol... my hormones were all over the place, and it took a good 2-3 months before i felt like myself againa

I've actually grown to love him more, especially when he rubs my belly or talks to the baby. I caught him taking the tags off of her clothes one day, and my heart melted! He's really stepping up so far and excited about his new role as a dad.
Don't get me wrong though, there are days where I want him to get the hell away from me.

Funny, I didn't have this problem. I was a very chill pregnant lady. Postpartum though....  There are still days I want to claw his eyes out. I think I'm pretty justified though, he's only now starting to "get" that life is different with a baby.

I had no problem with him my first pregnancy in fact we were incredibly close. But this pregnancy, I constantly feel like I want to punch him. He can't breathe in my direction, look at me weird or say anything without getting on my nerves. I know I love him dearly...but lately...I want to punch him. His grandmother says I should just do it.
It may also have to do with the fact that I'm at 8 months and extremely uncomfortable and have had back to back UTIs for months, making everything worse. (they finally found the cause so wohoo!)

Ugh. Glad they found the cause. I have HG so I puke for my entire pregnancy. Dh just seems to say the dumbest stuff at the wrong time.

While I was pregnant I adored DH ...once DS was born that changed. They say the first year of marriage is the toughest but I thought the first year after having a baby was the toughest. DS is now 16 months and for the last 4 months I've become a fan of DH again.
