Orthopedic surgeon
**admin please don't move this to the health board, there is a lot more traffic here and I need a recommendation ASAP
Looking for recommendations for an orthopedic surgeon. Preferably if they special in hand/upper extremity fractures.

Central Orthopedic Group. They have offices in Plainview and RVC. I saw Dr. Keschner.

I go to Total Ortho for my ACL but not sure how they are for hand. They do have a dr that specializes in hand and wrist.

I saw a hand surgeon in Astoria. His name is Dr. John Thomas. He did a great job!

I think Dr. Muhlrad only does diagnostics at this time, not surgeries. Dr. Wang is very good. He helped me with an elbow problem many years ago.

I've seen Dr Keschner, not for surgery, but I thought he was very good. He also did surgery on a friend of mine, and stitched a massive laceration - I've never seen better stitches in my life - not that it matters much, but it was just the more precise, neatest closure of a wound I'd ever seen.

Dr Jerry Ellison in Huntington. If it's hand, he is a hand surgeon. He operated on my dad and we were very happy.
