Any Polish-Americans out there??

Its a long shot but I'm just going to throw this out there.....

Tomorrow is National Paczki Day and I really want to get my hands on these rich, calorie laden, filled donuts that I remember from my childhood. Haven't had one in forever.
Any Polish bakeries in Nassau county?? I know there are some out East, but we are in Williston Park and I can't travel that far out on a workday..

Thanks in advance for any responses!!

Reinwalds in Huntington used to sell them on paczki day. Not sure if they still do though!

Yes! Polish/Slovak/Lithuanian here and had no idea it was Paczki Day!! Amazing! There is a Polish pork store on Commack Road just south of Jericho Turnpike with amazing fresh bakery goods included assorted paczki. Highly recommend. Or Copaigue for sure.

Ok long shot: Where is a good Polish Deli in the Bronx? Can't go to green point tomorrow and I won't be near Rapacki's (my favorite)

Kabanos Deli in Copiague sells them and they are amazing. If you are ever in Greenpoint I would totally recommend Syrena

You learn something new everyday! I didn't know it was referred to as Paczki Day!!! I know it's "tlusty czwartek" which is equivalent to "Fat Tuesday". Sorry I'm no help. I can give you lots of places in greenpoint and queens that have great paczki but don't know of any in LI. Hope you get your hands on some and enjoy.

Re: Any Polish-Americans out there??

I just read this online, I may have to take a long walk at lunch time !

Depending on parking, the Old Traditional Polish Cuisine truck will set up shop on West 52nd Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues, or on West 47th Street between Park and Lexington avenues, on Thursday, Feb. 23.

The truck will also be parked on one of the blocks next Tuesday, Feb. 28, in honor of Fat Tuesday.

The truck plans to post its location on Facebook and Twitter Thursday and Tuesday mornings.

It will be parked from around 8:45 or 9 a.m. on both days until the last $3 paczki is sold.

They confirmed it on FB to be West 52nd Street today.
