Hershey Park - where to stay?
Any recommendations??
Helpful hints/tips also welcome!
I tried to search this, I'm sure it's been asked, but no luck with the search.
Thanks!

Hershey Park - where to stay?
My sisters have stayed in Eden resorts and LOVED it! We stayed in Hershey Lodge over Christmas and it was great. They have a nice pool/waterpark indoors for the kids. It was so fun!

We really liked Hotel Hershey. The pool is very nice.
We will probably stay at Hershey Lodge the next time we go. They have a new indoor water park.

They are expensive.
Trying to keep it under $700 total for preferably a suite.

I mapped it - about 40 minutes
I couldn't find a place I liked other than Eden. Hotel Hershey was too much money and I know I'm weird but it gives me the creeps- reminds me of the hotel in the Shining. (I'm weird, I know)
Hershey Lodge was top on my list- until I read some trip advisor reviews that weren't great and saw some pics of the rooms that turned me off. Plus it wasn't cheap
There are other places that are more like a Hampton Inn- that are perfectly fine looking- clean, new, modern- but they didn't have nice outdoor pools- mainly small indoor pools- and we are spoiled by Eden and like the resort feel.
I think we are skipping Hershey this year until we figure it out.

Not sure how many nights you want for that price but we stay at the Country Inn and Suites that's about 15 minutes away from the parks because we need room for 5. We've been there a bunch of times and it's always clean and has a nice free breakfast. Indoor pool but no outdoor - we don't care though because we don't use it much. I can't remember the town but it's the one on Pfeiffer Lane.
