So why does he say he doesn't decide who comes through during a group event but during a $500 private event he can make them (someone related to the guest who passed) come through?
If you're in a room with a lot of people - there are tons of "spirits" that come through. He cannot guarantee that you will get a reading.
If you are seeing him in private - obviously only "spirits" who are attached to you are going to come through. Not some guy down the street because he is not there.
Just as I expect if I ever pay for a private reading there is not guarantee that my entire family will come through. To be honest I just suspect my Mom because I think my Father, Brother & Grandmother just went on their merry way. She's pretty vocal and knows I still need her.

Also all the names or variations on names were european judeo/christian. I wonder how he deals with foreign names
I already commented that I didn't think he was for real at all, and this comment is one of the reasons, but seeing all of these responses, I guess it's possible he just had an off day. I was turned off that everybody he was talking about was Joe, Mike Mary...you know people that all of us LI Americans have in our family. I say go for it, just don't be expecting anything. he may come through for you!
When my Mom came through both times not once did he spit out names.
He gave VERY real details of my current life and our childhood home.
I listen to the recording of the second one from time to time and damn... I swear the way it ended it was like "drop the mic and walk away".

Yeah - I agree...and I did understand your post.
I felt that way when I saw some medium who is on the radio...or was...Jeffrey Sands? People go crazy over him and all I saw was him walking around saying... "I'm getting someone over here who's name starts with an M".... REALLY? So if that was your experience with RH...I'd feel the same way!

yes!! i was there!! did you see the first person he spoke to?? about the jaw and eyeball being rmoved?? he was talking directly to me but then it turned out to be for the girl to my left! i was so upset LOL
haha... yes the first person he spoke with was my friend. She was sitting across from me and SO. It was her cousin he was talking about.

I haven't been to Hansen individually so I can't say for sure for him. However, in general, the mediums I've been to individually say that they do not have control over who comes through in an individual session either.
I have been to quite a few, and that is a pretty standard opening line.
