OMG gross!
I have to share this.
I was at Starbucks this morning, standing there waiting for my coffee.
This guy comes in- acting very off. He was dressed in a cut off top, low ride pants with azz crack and all, his entire midriff was showing. (mind you it was like 20 degrees this morning)
Anywho, he grabs a carafe of half and half and disappears out of sight for a while- god knows what he did with it.
Then he returns it and grabs one of those wooden coffee stirrers they have. He stirs his coffee, LICKS THE STIRRER, and proceeds to put it back with all the others.
I was a bit far away, so I did a double take to make sure what I was seeing was real.
He left real quick after that. I told everyone standing there to not touch them (not sure how others didn't see this, they were right there next to him) and let an employee know and she came and dumped them all out.
But all I can think of is- what if I didn't see that?
How fuking gross is that?
And what did he do to that carafe of milk or creamer?
I will never use a stirrer at any Starbucks ever again.
And now I'm questioning the milks too
I'm so fuking skeeved out

And I just died reading that. Omg. I can't even. Why? Ugh. No. Blech!
I wonder if they can do one of those things where they put video of him on the news to arrest him? It really sounds like he's intentionally tampering with these items. I am beyond disgusted.
It's reminding me of some crazy guy a while back in another state that was spraying rat poison on food at buffets in grocery stores and Target. This stuff scares the crap out of me.
I guess it's only drive through Starbucks from now on.
eta- Out of curiosity, how old was the guy? So bizarre!

Probably like mid to late 20s.
What I noticed first was his outfit.
His top was nothing more than a sports bra to be honest
It was beyond crazy- especially in this weather.
Everyone was staring because as he bent over to make his coffee his azz crack was hanging out of low ride, aqua blue jeans.
He was obviously mentally disturbed

Yuck! I have to admit the thought of someone doing that always crosses my mind. I hate when there is something out in the open bc people are crazy. I just always chalked it up to me being a little paranoid but now I see it really does happen. Ughhhhh. Good thing you saw and said something.

omg that is nasty! where did he disappear to with the half & half? I usually get drinks that don't require stirring but sometimes I use the milk. I'm going to request coconut milk from now on so that way I won't have to use the ones on the counter. I would call corporate and tell them that what happened too. Maybe they will consider a policy change or individually wrapped stirrers.
I always thought it was weird that they won't just add the milk for me.

Thank you for noticing this and speaking up! Please call their corporate number to report this incident and demand they go to the police with the surveillance video. You just KNOW this nutjob is doing this all around town at other restaurants. I'm thinking of all the half empty places where the two customers on line are so busy texting on their phones that nobody notices he walked away with the carafe? Ugh!!! Post it on their social media so they take it seriously!

Yuck! They need a dispenser for the stirrers, like some places have for unwrapped straws and plastic forks/spoons. I hate to take anything unwrapped from the counter.

711 has individually wrapped stirrers. I don't usually use them, but I will going forward. Yuck.

No but I've seen some really shady-ass shit at the milk/sugar counter at the Magnolia in there. Similar stuff. That's why I just knew it had to be Penn (or perhaps Port Authority) The only place I will get coffee/tea in Penn is at Pret a Manger because their milk/sugar counter is in the middle of the store and there is always at least one employee tending to the shelves.
