a million yeas ago, when i was a kid growing up in the los angeles area, i would see the commercials for Santa's Village. there was NO way my parents would take me. this was something "american" families did, not us.
in the mid 90s, santa's village closed.
last weekend, the re-opened.
i am going to take my 43-year-old ass to santa's village!!!!
i will fake the funk and bring my cousin's kids with me. as i was typing this, i got a call from the marine that he's coming home for the weekend. so, i'll be bringing two marines, as well!!
it's a party at santa's village!!
it's up in the mountains, so it's time to bring out all my knits and wear them for the first time since i moved back to socal!! woo hoo!
i'm going to santa's village!
