The Affair - season 3
Is this season written by someone that identifies with Noah? I almost wanted to puke when the student (don't remember her name but she was Hattie on Parenthood) said that she cant' stop thinking of Noah and wants to sleep with him. Then the teacher was all into him, too. The episode felt like some guy's fantasy of how they think women react to men.

I am so upset what is going on with this show. It was my "Don't call me on a Sunday night because I won't answer" show. I almost turned it off the other night 
I hate it, it's so dark, the whole teacher having sex with the students is making me sick. Why is she inviting them all to her house for dinner and they sit around and talk about sex to eachother.

Well....a consultant on the show was stabbed in the neck last year....

The Affair - season 3
This season is thumbs down so far for me.
Way too slow. Didn't mind episode 1, but the last one was painful.
We get it - the female teacher is going to jerk off. Don't need 3 minutes of it. Could have gotten the same idea across with 10 second clip. They're just doing it to be edgy.
Soon I'm going to be watching this like I watch Walking Dead. When no one is talking watch on 2x speed.

I agree. I'm just not loving this season. It's been painfully slow and so drawn out. I also dislike how they introduced the professors point-of-view.
I really think Noah's neck wound was self-inflicted. Maybe he has a plan to frame the guard? If the guard has been following him, it's unlikely that he would have a solid alibi. IDK just thinking out loud lol. The guard is creepy though. Maybe he did it.
I don't understand Helen. She needs to let go. That hospital scene was hard to watch.

It's weird how 2 people can remember things so differently - even down to the outfit that she wore to the birthday party, or the fact that the step mom comforted Joanie instead of Alison after Joanie fell off the horse.
But I'm all for Alison and Cole getting back together!

I agree, it's very strange that 2 people can remember things so differently.
Honestly, if Alison's perspective is more accurate than Cole's (and Luisa is the one that made sure Joanie was alright), she has no business having unsupervised visits. She is unstable. The way she panicked when Joanie fell is pretty bad. What would happen if Joanie got seriously hurt and no one else was there?
The 2 different perspectives of them having sex were interesting. His point-of-view seemed kinda cold and in hers it seemed more romantic. I wonder what that is going to lead to.
I'm curious to find out what Cole was doing the night Noah was attacked. He told Allison he was at home. Luisa covered for him with the cops and then asked him where he was. So we know he's lying about something. He seemed surprised to find out Noah was out of jail so I don't think he actually did it. This week was definitely better than last weeks episode.

He must be hallucinating right? One of the last scenes showed the car with no damage from being rear ended. So he imagined all of it I guess? Very strange.

He must be hallucinating right? One of the last scenes showed the car with no damage from being rear ended. So he imagined all of it I guess? Very strange.
I took it as maybe hallucinating from abusing vicodin. That guard totally freaks me out.

a side note that guard is from a past show and I cant remember what, but he got heavy.
I felt uncomfortable with Noah and Alison going to block island. I still prefer her with Cole. Not sure I like his new wife. Im confused about everything else lol, Alston has major issues and I dont trust her alone with a child.

I've been thinking all along that the guard looks like Brendan Fraiser so I looked up Brendan to do a comparison and it is Brendan Fraiser hahahahahah MIND BLOWN - didn't even think he existed anymore

It seems like Noah is hallucinating. The whole story line is creeping me out.
Allison is such a whacko. I always find it funny how Noah's point of view is that he's this kind, fun guy but whenever its someone else's point of view, he's a jerk.

I thought episode 5 was pretty boring and ridiculous. The trespassing and skinny dipping in the hot tub. I mean who does that lol. Why would she even go to block island with him. I am curious to see how the season ends though.

Yes!! It's true. Everyone's version of Noah is he's a an asshole. So he must be. My friend hates him to death lol I kinda like him.

I REALLY like Noah this season. I actually feel for him and find him kind of hot the last episode. I like Allison with Cole but I dunno I was really wanting Allison to give it up for him! Does that make me weird?

Guess I am the odd one out because I am enjoying this season. It's interesting seeing what's changed in the last 3 years. And I agree, Noah is absolutely going bat$hit crazy!!...........no doubt!! The ONLY thing I don't like in this season is that irritating professor chick. I don't like ANYTHING about the character, she adds nothing to the show.
