Party RSVPs
I think I have finally found the answer to the party RSVP dilemma! Texting! For years I have been waiting and waiting for RSVPs that never come. This year I texted all the parents a copy of the party invitation and out of 15 girls 12 already responded within 5 minutes. I feel like I won the lottery lol.

For DD's party, of the 20kids in her class, only 10 replied.

Party RSVPs
I have twins & sent out invitations to all boys of both classes on wednesday. Nobody has RSVP yet!!! UGH!!
I hope to get the emails at the PTA meeting mid October. The party is end of month.

For the last two years I have always given the option to call/text/email for rsvp that I have got a good amount of rsvp's this way. I think its just easier for people.

This is what I do. I put call/text but everyone texts which is what I prefer. I've had 14 out of 19 families rsvp so far for our party this weekend which isn't too bad. Over 1/2 rsvpd within the first 2 days.

I wrote for everyone to text/call me on the rsvp... out of 15, I got 2 so far... and there were a handful of parents I saw in person! I guess I just take the no answers as no shows.

Such a nightmare, always. I have to say, the last 2 years have been MUCH better. DS really has a set group of friends and they hangout all the time so Ive become friendly with the moms. Like you, I just text them now and let them know and they text me back. SO much easier.
