Stroller rental at Disney
I'm going soon with my 15 month old and 4 year old. I never had a double stroller. I'm wondering if we should rent a single or double there or if we should just bring two single strollers.
Also, are there other stroller rental companies other than the one at Disney?? I'm just wondering if our only option is that plastic stroller. I remember seeing a post a long time ago about different rentals but I can't find it when searching.

This is based on Disneyland, we went last year my DD was 4 and we rented one but she ended up falling asleep towards the end. We had to return the stroller by the exit of the park, then take a trolly to the parking lot, then find our car. DH was exhausted carrying our DD (who is NOT light) and carrying all the bags. I wish I had our stroller at that time would of been so much easier. Again this was in Cali could be different in FL.

been told doubles are too big for the hustle and bustle disney and doorways and stuff. I think two singles would be better

We brought our double. I would rent the citi double. I know the search function doesn't work well...I think kingdom strollers is mentioned a lot. Don't rent the plastic ones from Disney. Not as comfortable and you can't take them out of the park as pp mentioned.

We went when my kids were 5 and 1.5, and we used 2 single strollers. There were certain rides my older one went on, and I would take the baby to another part of the park (not far). It was easier to have to single strollers when we needed to separate. Plus, navigating through the shops and stroller parking spots was easier with the singles.
The weight difference between a 5 yr old and 1.5 yr old was a lot too. Pushing a double like that all day is difficult for me.

We've rented a double three times from Orlando strollers. Very easy process. I preferred having the double so I could do things while walking ( open snacks, check the nap etc). We did not find it difficult to maneuver even in crowds. The only pain was bringing it on the busses.

Haven't gone yet so I can't speak for the company, but we have two city mini double GT strollers booked for our week long trip (I have two sets of twins, 5 yrs and just under 2 yrs). We are using Kingdom Stroller. Its $105 per stroller for Saturday-Saturday. They drop off and pickup from the resort and it includes loss/damage insurance, rain cover, cooler bag, and stroller organizer. It takes some getting used to pushing a double stroller if you haven't before, but the city mini double fits all standard doorways and is a very maneuverable, comfortable stroller. I have a regular one we use daily, but I'm excited to see the differences between my stroller and a GT.

Rent a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers, they are great!! Very affordable and they deliver right to your resort. My kids were 1.5yrs old and 6 when we went, it was a lifesaver.

The double is fine. I had no issues getting in or out anywhere, getting on the buses, etc. Stroller parking was ample and having the double was really no big deal.

Stroller rental at Disney
We bring our City Mini double with us and haven't had any issues maneuvering it around. I love it especially when it's time to go - it keeps us all together.

Stroller rental at Disney
Rented a double from kingdom strollers for my 5 and 2 year old this summer. Was the best! No issues navigating anywhere. So easy b/c pick up and drop off was right at the hotel. Includes a rain cover too!
