BBQs

I love summer, don't get me wrong, but I'm getting tired of hot dogs and hamburgers and grilled chicken. What do you do with your grilled chicken to change it up? Like other dishes or sides? I feel like we always have grilled chicken salads, or with tomato salad or pasta with pesto. I need some new suggestions

I love using my crock pot to make pulled pork. I grill some corn on the cob with it and cole slaw and it's dinner.

You can also make foil packets with chicken or fish, some olive oil, lemon and seasoning along with veggies and cook on the grill.

Grilled pizza is also yummy, easy and fun.

I love BBQs too. I also dislike when its just hot dogs and hamburgers and grilled chicken. Adding something else definitely makes it better.
Also, IMHO, everyone should skip the frozen and premade burgers and make some nice sized ones with fresh ground beef and some higher quality hot dogs like boars head.

Also
you can make
Chicken on the bone with various marinades and sauces.
BBQ ribs- you can do this in the oven and finish on the grill, or the grill the whole way in foil.
pulled pork-- make in the crock pot and pull before hand.
grilled shrimp- I do this in a garlic and lime marinade and cook it in a grill wire pan. I do this mostly as an app, its fast, but can get pricey.
London Broil
pork chops
pork tenderloin
Kielbasi
Sausage

BBQs

We usually have the standard hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken but we do burgers that are loaded with yummy things like spinach and cheese. With the chicken we marinate it in whatever we have terrayki, italian dressing but make into skewers and add tomatoes, peppers, zucchini its so good and always a hit. We also do steak, ribs, corn, and sometimes grilled pineapple.

Kabobs and steak are good to mix it up.

Also, throw some fresh sliced pineapple on the grill and eat it with the grilled chicken. Yumm.

I'm not a big grilled chicken fan so I try to find other things to grill. We do sausage, sausage burgers topped with sauteed peppers and onions, I mix bbq and hot sauce into ground chicken for buffalo burgers and top with blue cheese, fish. I also modify lots of recipes meant for the oven and grill them in foil packets or take stove top recipes and use a grill bowl.

Here's a few recent recipes we've used.

Grilled whole chicken Easy and tasty. I used the leftover meat to make a quick chili the next day.
Chili lime mango chicken bowls I cooked the chicken in foil packets. Leftovers were great in wraps the next day.
chili lime cod I used fluke and did foil packets again. I put the pat of butter inside and just squeezed the lime on when it was done.
garlic parmesan broccoli and potatoes So easy and delicious! This is a new favorite of ours this summer.
Not cooked on the grill, but another favorite side this year has been this quinoa salad with spinach and berries. Unbelievably good! I cut way back on the sugar bc it doesn't need it at all. Quinoa salad
I also love doing grilled chicken with tzaziki in the summer. It's so refreshing on a hot day.
