That seems like the going rate- it works out to $38.70 a week. I got quotes for $35-40 per week.

I pay $20 a week for landscaping and $30 extra when they put down chemicals...which isn't often.
ETA...I just added up all my payments from April to October and it came to $1100. So I guess your guy isn't that off. This includes spring and fall clean up.

Yes, includes mowing & fertilizing. Our lot is 8500 & we have lot of greenery to maintain. I have another person coming to give us a quote today. I hope it's cheaper. DH thinks he can do it himself but our first summer here last year, our yard looked blah when dh did it.

Sounds reasonable, but it depends what it includes. There's always chemicals, spring and fall cleanups, bush triming, weeding, etc. IT all could be extra.

That sounds good. I just added up our checks from last year and it came to over $2000 - that included $25/week for mowing and edging, plus extra money monthly for fungicide, raking, aerating, etc.
Now I see I'm paying too much. Ugh.

You want to know where I got my 1200 quote from? It's from Mario & Aledy Landscaping- they are based out of Jamaica queens. I live on the boarder & they do a few houses on my block- not sure how far into LI they travel. 516-805-8577

I think thats amazing is it included spring and fall cleanup. I pay $30 a week and we pay $400 for fall clean up. I think were paying too much and reading this.

We pay :40 a week for mowing edging and blowing but then extra for anything more (clean up, tree trimming, fertilizer etc)
