How to stop biting??
Our lab mix puppy is 7 months and still very mouthy. She doesn't break skin but she doesn't realize sometimes how hard she is biting. We have a spray bottle but we can't walk around spraying her all the time. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or methods that were successful for them that they'd like to share with me? Thanks!

My sisters lab mix did the same thing. She is 8 months now and has calmed down a lot with that. I think my sister also used the bottle and I believe she put her in the crate when being to mouthy as well.
They don't mean to inflict harm but just by opening their mouths they scratch or gently bite inadvertently.

For every dog we've ever had we would yelp very loudly or say "OUCH!" when they bit too hard. We would also redirect by giving them something they were allowed to chew on. It worked for us every time and we've had every type of dog from pomeranians to collies to mutts to pit bulls.

Redirect to a chew toy.
They outgrow it.

buy them the toy called kong they love it and eventually they will stop biting

This is what our trainer told us with our rottie. She was very mouthy. We would give her a very stern NO! and then give her something to chew. It just takes time. Be patient but be sure to make sure the dog knows this is unacceptable.
