spin off to youthful skin care.....
does anyone really believe day cream and night cream are different aside from the cost.
I do think night creams are thicker but I think they just like to charge more.

Night creams are MUCH richer than day creams. They also do not have sunscreen.

I use CeraVE AM & PM
The AM has sunscreen, and the pm is more of a gel like consistency that absorbs better. I believe they are the same price.
Sometimes night creams are more $ because they have other ingredients iin them- like anti-oxidents, vitamin C, etc. Those are the things that are in serums & those are expensive.

yes, aside from the sunscreen do you really think night cream is better. What if I use my day cream at night am I not getting any benefit.
does it really matter?

day creams are lighter and tend to have SPF and are meant to be protective
night creams are richer and tend to have retinols, vitimin C or aha's and are meant to be restorative
