Does your kid watch tv before going to school?
Never before school. My DS's bus comes early, and if I let him watch tv before school he'd get up at the crack of dawn just so he could watch. Rule is no tv before school and none after until all homework is complete, and that of course depends upon other activities and obligations as well.

Yup.. It is what wakes him up.... He watches about 45 minutes before we leave for school.

On the days I am not working and take them to school I let them watch TV after they are ready to go, down to having their jackets on  Otherwise nothing would get done.

Yes, DD is not a morning person, so she needs some time to "wake up" after she gets out of bed. DS just naturally gets up early most of the time.

Yes, our mornings are long b/c they are up at 6:00 and the earliest we leave is 8:20. But also because we don't limit TV time at all. It's almost always on in the background. They generally don't just sit and stare at it for more than 20 minutes.

This too. I don't limit TV or electronics at all.
I can't deal with too many rules in my life.
We are a very laid back, bend the rules, kind of home

No. He wakes between 6:30-7:30 each morning. If it is closer to 7:30 then he is up, dressed, fed breakfast, we listen to music while we do this... and out the door. If he wakes up on the earlier side then he kills time in his room reading books, playing with his leapfrog, or things like that -- his toys -- until I'm ready to get him dressed and go down and have breakfast. We always do music in the morning while we get ready -- he asks for Zac Brown, The Beatles, Sting, John Lennon, and "Uncle Toby"
Mind you, he's freaking two 
He does sometimes enjoy a Baby Einstein type alphabet or numbers DVD -- or something having to do with animals after we get home from daycare/work, while I'm making dinner.
Then, it's tubby time with music again -- and we get into PJ's, go for a walk in the stroller if the weather is nice, and then read books and bed.
ETA -- and I don't have it this way because I'm like, omg screen time is bad!!! It's not even that -- it's just that our time in the morning is limited because we are up and out by 7:45-8am... and then after school he is in bed by 7pm so that time is also limited. So, I like to try and take as much time as I can to talk with him, read with him, or listen to music -- and have that interaction that we have. It's just because I work FT and that time before and after school is just so darn fleeting!
And I'm weird with background noise -- unless it is music, and it is at a nice volume, I can't STAND it on while I do other things -- feels chaotic! And the television is the worst for me with that - I always have it off unless I am actually watching it. I wonder now if this comes from how I was raised. I remember my parents only having it on when they were watching it and then when dinner would be put on the table and we would all sit down to eat they always went over and shut it off while we ate.

If he wakes up early, then yes he can watch something while we are getting ready before the nanny comes.

no time, we usually have to wake our son to get him dressed and out by a little after 7, our DD is only one and doesn't care about the TV so while she is up she is following me around giving me hell, I wish she would watch!

No TV but they play on their iPads before school. DS2 is up so freaking early (5:20am this morning) that letting him play on the iPad is the only way I can get ready for work and not have the whole house wake up. DS1 is up later and only gets about 15 mins of screen time before we have to leave. We need to be out of the house at 7am the latest!

hmm - with my son, I just say no.
i'm like, that's it, you're done... it is time to get ready for the bath, or go to the store, or get changed, or whatever...
and if he throws a fit then i just put him in time out and show no reaction to the fit and he realizes it gets him nowhere. i tell him it is not appropriate to watch too much TV -- or whatever the behavior is that i am unhappy with -- and i'm fair but firm with him. he has no choice but to cope with it.

No. I don't like the TV on in the mornings. It slows things down. They get up at 6:45-7am and we are out the door at 7:45 so they have no time anyway.
