Civil service tests
Does anyone know what the job title would be for a secretarial type position in a public school? Also how often are these tests offered, currently no clerk type positions are on the list of available tests. Thanks

it's clerk typist and its been many years since I've seen it. I have seen it come up with Spanish speaking.

For Nassau, I think it's actually 2 more years for the current list for clerk-typist. They are usually good for 4 years and the last one was in 2013.

I'm hoping the Suffolk county clerk typist exam is offered soon! I think the last time it was given was in 2013. I'm not sure how many years it is before its given again. Every day I check to see what exams are given and if they have updated the list. I would love to try to get a job as a secretary in a school setting!!

Try calling the Department of Civil Service and see how many years a list is good for and when they expect to offer the exam again.
