Barn Wedding
A friend of mine is venue hunting and wants to get married in a barn. Anyone have any suggestions? They live in the city, so doesn't have to be on LI.
I just went on LIW and it's DEAD. Doesn't anyone use it anymore?!

The old field club...It's not a farm but it has beautiful vaulted wood ceilings over the dance floor and had a rustic feel.. It's on the water and the food is amazing... I had my wedding there and received nothing but compliments and ppl asked throughout the night how did I find out about the venue!

I was a 2015 bride and yes, the boards are dead because we had a LIW FB group instead. That way, vendors couldn't stalk. It actually worked quite well but as LIW was, it was drama filled.
In any event, I didn't have a barn wedding but I live in NYC and was looking for a similar feel. We looked at Blooming Hill Farm in Monroe but it wasn't fur us. We ended up having a wedding in a rustic beer hall in NYC!

Old Bethpage Village Restoration has a gorgeous barn they do very nice parties and weddings in.
I was shocked lol.
