Ladies who used progesterone?
When did your RE/OB wean you off?
At our visit today my RE said I could stop progesterone. It's PIO so I should be excited to be weaned off but I'm only 7w4d so I'm a little cautious. We have had 4 u/s so far and everything looks good..nice strong heartbeat, etc however I remember for DD staying on progesterone until 11 weeks or so.

I did IUI and used the progesterone suppositories. I did not have a history of low progesterone, it was just done as a precaution. I stopped just over the 8 week mark.

They told me I could stop at 8 weeks but I took it until 12 just to be safe.

the good thing is that there is no harm in continuing it... so if you dont feel comfortable stopping just take it until you have none left... with Hailey i stopped at 10w i think....

I had done the progesterone that you take vaginally 2x a day. I started it at ovulation and was told to keep it going until 13wks.

I took it from 2 days after my iui until week 12. I couldn't wait to stop and all was fine when I did.

Ladies who used progesterone?
I have been on it since 6 weeks and was told to stop cold turkey this Friday. I will be about 12.5 weeks. I am nervous about not gradually stopping, so I am going to go over that with my OB when I go for my 12 week scan on Friday. It was the RE who said I could just stop.
