Naps at daycare
Emme still gets swaddled at home for naps and bedtime. do they swaddle at daycare? she'll start there in september at 5 months. i can't remember 6 years ago when Ian went!

My daycare did not.
I was worried at first, but they said she napped fine.

If we wanted her swaddled of course daycare swaddled her. They do whatever you want (at least at mine).

Daycare did not / would not swaddle. I am pretty certain it is one of those regulations. That said, you can send in the swaddle sleep sack, the one with the velcro strips so DD could be swaddled in, they just won't use a swaddle blanket. I always sent DS with a sleep sack w/ out the swaddle, he hated having his arms swaddled, would always Houdini himself out of them. He doesn't use anything now that it's so warm, just wears his shorts onesies.

i don't they are really supposed to/want to worry about using blankets at that age. I brought in a sleep slack that was sleeveless however I could have brought in a swaddle sleep slack and had them use that if I wanted to.

my daycare would not swaddle.
and my son was the swaddle king! he loved his swaddle... but slept fine at daycare without it!

My daycare did not swaddle. Was not an issue because we never swaddled my DS.

My day care allows us to send in sleep sacks for swaddling. They will not use blankets on infants.

It's against regulations to have a blanket in the crib. Mine welcomed sleep sacks.

At 5 months, I would try to stop the swaddling. It may be hard to break as they get older

My DH and I actually own a daycare. It is a state regulation that they cannot be swaddle. The state is actually pushing to remove blankets as well and recommending the blanket sleeper zip up things (i'm totally blanking on what they are called)

Our daycare didn't swaddle.
We didn't swaddle DS2 but, DS1 was out of the swaddle by 5 months and sleeping on his belly.
