moving co recs
looking for recs!
last move we spent close to 3,000 and not looking for that expense again!
We moved from 1 apartment to another and the price was out of this world
We are moving from our 3 bedroom apt to a new condo we purchased in Aug

My sister, my friend and I have used Ken's Moving based out of Maspeth. 6 times between the 3 of us. No complaints and reasonable.

I know someone who used College Hunks, and were very pleased.
I have used three companies over the years and they were by far the BEST. The prices and customer service was EXCELLENT. I have used them twice. I cannot recommend them enough.

Yeah, when we moved last year and collected quotes, Agile was more than double all the other quotes. I am so glad we did not go with them.
We used Allied and the price was really reasonable and service was great. Under $1500 for our (small) ranch three bedroom house.

It is a shame we can't post real reviews on here. I know if we say something bad it will be removed bc they are a paying vendor. I wish LIF would get rid of them so so many of us wouldn't use them!!!!

Used College Hunks moving after reading a positive review from one of the posters... Moved from a two bedroom apartment in Queens to Long Island. They charged me about $950 since they finished early. The guys were amazing and i would hire them in a heartbeat!

Add me to the list as well, they literally quoted me $2000 to move ONE,room of boxes to NJ from queens. I hired another company cost me $400!!

I used them too when we bought our house (we moved out of our apt). Only time we ever had movers and we thought they were great. Very professional. No surprises with pricing. We used them based on the recommendation of the people we were buying the house from (that's who they were using ).

I used men on the move recently. They worked HARD but cracked a piece of my tv stand & bedroom dresser- they carried it by the top lip causing it to lift up. Insurance for damaged items is a joke.

Yup!! We spent OVER 2k to move from our apartment to the next town over. And the price changed from what he originally quoted me. PLUS they damaged an expensive piece of our furniture and didn't want to pay to have it fixed.
NEVER again!!

Yes I only used them because of all the rave reviews on here, but looking back I wish I would've gone with my other choice. You live and learn.
