Broadway show you didn't like
I took DH to Movin Out -it was his first Broadway show and he was so disappointed cause it sucked so hard!
I loved wicked....I also loved damn Yankees...I thought beauty and the beast was ok but boring...you could just watch the movie at home and saved lots of money!

We saw the Tupac show (which I think closed before opening) and walked out at intermission. It was horrible. 
I also think Rent, Jersey Boys, and Avenue Q were overhyped and/or overrated.
Eta: I saw movin out about 15-20 years ago, and that really suuuucked.

ETA...I thought Avenue Q was good but no where as good as all the hype.

The only show I didn't really like was Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.
DH didn't like Mamma Mia, Once, Rent or Phantom.

I used to work in the business and saw a bunch of them for free in the late 90's - there were definitely some clunkers that I saw that i would have been so annoyed if i had actually paid money to see them - Titanic, Life, Steel Pier, Civil War
I also saw Cats as a kid and liked it, then again as an adult and was bored to death.
I was disappointed by Miss Saigon too, and was bummed because i worked on the advertising for it a lot and really wanted to like it!
Anyone ever see Starlight Express? i LOVED that show (granted i saw it when i was a kid and it was all about trains and they were on roller skates so seeing it now i'm sure would be different)
Loved book of mormon of course!

I hated Cats and Jekyll & Hyde.
My favorites:
Les Miserables
Cabaret (saw it 3x - twice with Alan Cumming who was amazing)
Phantom of the Opera
Miss Saigon
The Mystery of Edwin Drood (though I saw it when I was 8)
I love Hair (the movie), but was very disappointed in the Broadway revival.

i've seen a million shows (used to work in the industry) and sadly there have been too many duds to miss.
I hate Andrew Lloyd Webber and it blows my mind that Phantom rakes in as much as it does. It makes sense though, foreign tourists don't need to understand the book.
On a side note, I saw Hamilton over the weekend and it blew my mind. Best show I have seen in EONS.
Go see it!

Well, Cats bc I was like 5 when I went to see it and it scared the ever loving shit out of me. Also, we saw Dracula a few years ago and it was AWFUL. There was also a show in the early 2000's probably, had to do with Swing music but I dont remember what it was called, I actually fell asleep. Also, I saw something, might have been off-broadway with David Hyde Pierce and I wanted to get up and leave. It was circa 2007-ish, and it was TERRIBLE

Hated cats, grease and hairspray. Also didn't love phantom and miss Saigon but love the music from both shows.
My favs are wicked, Les mis, titanic and avenue q.

To me they are all so cheese-tastic.
The only one I have ever liked, and I actually LOVE it so much, is Les Miserables.
It's the only one I can take seriously.
Most of the others are just tacky, cheesy, or they make me go, WHY am I here??

We saw it in February, and it was honestly one of the greatest shows I've seen in my life (and we see everything.) The last show I loved that much was -- no surprise -- In the Heights. LMM is my hero. )
We already have tickets to see it again the week it opens in previews in July.  I need a soundtrack for that stat. I can't believe it's not coming out until September.

Saw a produtcion in Vegas as a teen and loved it!
I love the music from A Chorusline- but the show was kind of blah.
I remember Jekyll and Hyde being a bit boring.
Phantom was okay the 1st time I saw it- the 2nd time I almost fell asleep (granted I had had a few glasses of wine before hand)
Some of you dislike my favorites- Rent, Miss Saigon, Chicago- love them all.
I love Broadway shows but I'm lucky if I get to go once a year. I think I'm going to start trying to go every few months

 I love it too but I have found most people don't like it. I usually hear it's a ripoff of Madame Butterfly, and I guess it is....but I still love it
