I bought a Speck case in target for $40, and I just recently submerged it into the basin full of water while getting a pedicure. It slid right off my lap and into the water. I wanted to die I thought my phone was a goner, but it's 100% fine! ::knock on wood::

I like the speck candy shell grip case. The stripes are actually rubber grips that help prevent the phone from slipping out of your hand or off surfaces like your lap.

I have the Otterbox Commuter series case. I can not tell you how many times I've dropped my phone in the past 2 years and my phone is still in new condition

i cant stress enough how important it is to get a tempered glass screen protector!! of course apple doesnt carry this

go to any verizon store and have them put it on. its 24-30$ and WORTH IT!!!!!!!! they also have nice cases.

i had a cheap picture one from online but it didnt protect the front at all and my screen cracked :(

I have the Otterbox Defender case.

-drop protection
-dust protection
-screen protection
-scratch protection
-3-layer protection

I've dropped it in puddles or its fallen out of my purse on the wet ground and no issues with operating.

It comes in a variety of colors and styles. We got ours at best Buy, but you can find them anywhere.

But Michael Kors has a great I-Phone 6 case.

It has slits for your DL, debit card, etc. and a little gold plated MK logo type design.

It's leather - SO NICE.

I LOVE IT!!!!! Comes in a few colors - I love RED!

I had the LifeProof for a while. It's great. Completely water and shock proof. My infant would drool all over that thing and it was fine lol. But I hated having to screw the little piece in and out every time I wanted to use earbuds.

Now I have this.

My husband has the iPhone 6 and has the Lifeproof and really likes it.

I have the 5s iPhone and have an Otterbox. I'm an Otterbox girl always.

i have had the outterbox defender and now have the lifeproof case. I need the protection that both offer cause I am constantly dropping my phone and my kids always have their hands on it. right now I prefer the lifeproof cause it less bulky than the outterbox defender. I think outterbox now carries one similar to lifeproof I may consider that one for my next phone.

ETA: I have the iphone 5s but I assume both are offered for the iphone 6

I have this and also have the tempered glass screen protector ... It's comparable to the otter box but not as bulky and has a better warranty.
