Anyone ever been there? We want to bring the kids somewhere for break.

Eh, it's ok. Definitely not the nicest or cleanest place I've ever been. I've been there twice and both times the kids wound up sick afterwards. I won't be trying a third time.

no personal experience but another mom's site that i belong to recently had a thread about this place and it sounded AWFUL according to the comments given. it was enough to make me cross it off the list of places to go.

I've been reading the reviews online as well. Not such great reviews at all. I think we're going to skip this one.

We went and it wasn't as bad as I expected.. Reviews were awful.. the hotel was a Holiday Inn I believe before CocoKey and that's basically what the hotel looks like.. one of the older Holiday Inns.. But the rooms were also really inexpensive so I didn't expect much.
The actual waterpark was just okay too.. DD liked it and had fun.. It wasn't as dirty as like the wave pool at Splish Splash.. which really grosses me out.
Between the water area and the arcade we made a day out of it. She loved it, which is what really matters.

We're taking our 11 month old next weekend. I'm sure it's nothing spectacular but it's something to do with her and a place to go.

Nasty! Nasty! I live in CT and went once. It was not a pleasant experience and noticed numerous safety/health violations. I was offered free tickets after complaining. I wouldn't even go back for free.

I know that Great Wolf Lodge now has a Massachusetts location. If you live in CT the drive may not be that far for you.

Gross hotel, totally gross! We went years ago, and I imagine it's only gotten worse. Just take a look at the Trip Advisor reviews. They aren't pretty. There is a reason why it's so cheap! They need to fix it up!

Same experience I had last year when I went in January. It was decent and the kids had fun. My room wasn't gross and dirty, the water park was fun for the kids. Idk if it was the one time they decided to clean the place up but it wasn't bad at all.

Eta: I would go there again over gross sesame place.
