When did you move your LO to a toddler bed?

DD tried to climb out of her crib once, a few months ago. We haven't had an incident since. I'd like to transition her into a toddler bed soon, but is this asking for trouble? She's 27 months.

When did you move your LO to a toddler bed?

We never used a toddler bed. We moved right to a twin. It was last January so he had just turned 2. He never tired to climb out or anything he was just a moved in his bed and we felt he needed more room.

I think it really depends on the kid. Ds was great at first and then went through a period where he was out all the time. One nights he gets out sometimes he will go right back and others he wants to stay in ours....if that happens one of us usually goes to sleep in his bed so everyone is able to sleep.

Transferred my dd last month... She's about 2.5. I was so afraid but she did well and doesn't get up out of bed in the middle of the night. I guess it all depends on the kid though.

DS was 28 months when we transitioned to a toddler bed. He was climbing out of the crib. He did pretty well overall. He's still in his toddler bed almost 2 years later and he really needs to be in a big bed now. We are renovating so we will transition to a big bed in a few weeks.

DD is turning 3 in a month & we still have her in a crib.

She's fully potty trained & just calls us if she needs anything

We moved DD at 2.5. It was an easier transition than I expected.

I moved DS when he was about 16 months. We got a car bed and he loved it.

Her crib converts to a toddler bed. It would make life so much easier for me to change the bedding

My twins at 3 years 2 months. My youngest on his second birthday it because he was pissed that his siblings had a bed and he didnt. I'd have to literally put him in bed with his brother to fall asleep.

17 months to a toddler bed, then 2.5 years old to a full size bed.

22 months, and she did great! She loved the idea of being a "big girl".

We converted his crib into a toddler bed when he was 2 years 5 months. Now he is in a full size bed...he moved into that at 3 years 3 months.

We skipped toddler beds and went straight to twin beds.

We are keeping DS in as long as possible since he would not stay in a bed, but we are pretty much going to be forced to move him since I'm currently pregnant with #2 (he'll be almost 3 when baby arrives).

Because it was easier for me and that crib didn't go low enough to make me comfy after it converted
