If you workout before work...? (x-post health/fitness)
Do you eat before or after you workout? Thinking of starting a morning regimen and don't know what the 'timeline' should be. Thanks!

I usually eat a bananas or lo-cal Bar on the way, and then eggs or oats after.

I usually eat a small bowl of cereal at home or a slice of toast with peanut butter, then go to the gym by my job. Once I'm at work, I'll have a yogurt and banana or oatmeal and banana.
I need a bit of fuel in me.

I used to workout at work (after an hour commute) and would just have a banana on the train on the way in. Now, I workout at home, have a banana on the train on the way in and breakfast when I get to my desk.

I have to eat something small before working out, otherwise I will get sick. Small thing of cheerios was great, a protein shake, that sort of thing just to fill my stomach a little.

For early morning workouts I don't eat before, but I need to have coffee. No matter how early it is, I will set my alarm a half hour earlier because I need time to wake up.

I can barely drag my ass out of bed to go to work.

(this is coming from a person who can't even get off her fat azz to walk to the bathroom and work and would rather hold it all day!)

It helps that my shift is 10-6...I can wake up as late as 7:15 and still make it to the gym and then to work on time.
I can never ever work out after work unless it's a class that I really want to attend...and have paid for...and even then, the odds of me making it there are 50/50.

Yes, seriously. I plan on waking up at 7:30 and doing my elliptical machine at home. I have to be at work at 9:30 and it is, literally, 3 blocks from my house. I'm no early riser!
