2014 HOLIDAY DONATION THREAD
Hi All!
Four years ago, we had a financial situation where we were on the verge of losing our house, were using a food pantry for groceries, and definitely could not afford Christmas for our children. It would have been a "dollar store Christmas" but for the incredible people of LIF. Through the holiday donation drive run by DBJ808, we were able to have an amazing Christmas for our children. Over the course of the last 3 years, we have been able to make the holidays bright for over 35 children.
This year, I am blessed to be able to run this program again. Here is how it will work:
FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE:
The families would be completely anonymous. If you would like to participate you can FM me directly and it would be done privately, discreetly, and names would NEVER be disclosed. I would need to know your child's age and size, and specifically what they would like for the holidays, so appropriate gifts can be bought. You would need to be able to pick up the gifts for your child/children at my home in Babylon. Once I know who is participating, I can post ONLY the age/gender/size/wish of your child so appropriate gifts can be bought. Gifts will be unwrapped so you know what your child is getting and so I can distribute them properly.
TO THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO GIVE:
As soon as I have children signed up to receive, I will be creating a thread detailing who is buying what for which child. We were able to keep it extremely organized last year. The gift can be as little or as much as you would like. The gift would need to be unwrapped and sent by December 10th.

More information will follow once I know who is interested in receiving and donating. I can only do this if people are willing to participate on both ends. The season is all about giving and although this is anonymous... what better way to celebrate the holidays then to make someone elses a little brighter!!! Thanks in advance!

I do not vet them. My feeling is that if someone is coming to me saying they need help, it is not my place to ask them to prove it. If they end up not being truly in need, then that is on their conscience, not on mine.
