Need a book

Something without a happy fairy tail ending. I'm thinking something true crime, mob related. Anyone have any suggestions. I've already read surviving the mob last year. I really liked it

Have you read Gone Girl or the other Gillian Flynn books? Definitely no fairy tales there.

Re: Need a book

I recently read Still Missing by Chevy Stephens and really enjoyed it.

If you haven't read Defending Jacob, I would absolutely recommend it.

The Children Act by Ian McEwan is on my 'to-read' list..it sounds like something you may like.

Smoke gets into your eyes and other lessons from the crematory- it an autobiography about a young woman who got job working in a crematorium because she was fascinated with death and the customs behind funerals and such. I haven't finished it yet, but it's really good!

I will download The Children Act. Thank you. I read the other 2 and loved them. I am always looking to see what you read because I think we enjoy the same kinds of books. Thanks again.

I really liked The Hiding Place by David Bell.
And Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens.
Not true crime but suspenseful and I couldn't put them down.

ETS: I read Defending Jacob and although I liked it. I liked The Hiding Place more.
