Blowdryer rave!

For a long time I have been reading all of the blowdryer recommendations on here. I originally thought a blowdryer was just a blowdryer, boy how wrong I was. I go through about 1 blowdryer a year. I always bought them from CVS or Target, my last one was a more expensive Target one. I have very thick wavy/frizzy hair that I blowdry/flat iron straight everyday. It's the kinda hair that will never look nice drying naturally. I also color my hair as I probably am about 80% grey, so I have those course greys too. I used to have to blow dry it straight then flat iron it to smooth it out. It never looked as good as the first 5 minutes when I finished. Forget it if it was the tiniest bit humid, my hair would grow bigger and start to frizz. So I finally decided to get a "good" blowdryer. After much research I ended up with the elchim 3900. I fell in love after using it for 5 minutes! It drys my hair so fast and eliminates all of the little frizzies!! I don't even need to use my flat iron anymore! The best thing is that it stays straight even on humid days! My hair has never looked so shiny and healthy!! I absolutely love it! I will never go back to a cheap blow dryer again! elchim 3900

Re: Blowdryer rave!

That's a great dryer. I was a hairdresser and right out of school the first place I worked at I was using a cheap blowdryer. My boss couldn't stand it and teased me by blowing some hot air from his dryer on to my clients hair while I was using my dryer to help me dry it faster, joking around. So for the holiday he bought me an expensive professional grade dryer and he said it was a gift for him as well so that he can book me more clients Chat Icon They last long I actually still have the one he gave me. I always use the straight nozzle when blow drying even fine hair. The nozzle is just as important I think.

I saw this post on Monday night and five minutes later it was ordered through the linkChat Icon .

I have thick frizzy hair too. My alarm goes off at 4:20!!! YeahChat Icon I only wash my hair every other day and it just takes way too much time. I've always had the cheaper drugstore blow dryers and I just think of the $$$ and time I wasted... they are no bargain.

I'll update when it arrivesChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I hope you guys love it as much as I do! I've been using it now for almost 3 weeks and I am still in awe of how well my hair comes out! I actually don't dread having to dry my hair anymore!

Re: Blowdryer rave!

I have an Elchim 3000 from when they were first recommended on here. I think it could be 7 years old. Hair dryers used to last me less than a year!! I'm not sure my hair really looks any better or less frizzy from it. Do you all think I would notice a difference with a newer one even though this one certainly still works? No matter what, I love the fact that it has lasted this long.
