Question for moms of uncircumcised boys...
Hi mamas!
Both my boys are uncircumcised. Just wanted some opinions on cleaning. I've had one ped. tell me don't touch it and just clean it like a finger and another ped. told me to pull it back and rinse with water during bath time and to teach them how to do it themselves. My boys are 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 now.
What do you do and when did you start doing it or teaching them? TIA!!

Question for moms of uncircumcised boys...
Only the owner of the penis should be the one to retract it. Some boys aren't able to retract until puberty. If their foreskin has already separated than its time to teach them to retract and rinse with plain water. If their foreskin is still adhered to the head than DO NOT pull it back! Retracting before natural separation has taken place can cause life long problems.

Thanks! That's what I thought and did this far but my little guy got an infection. So now I'm wondering if I should have been :(

My older DS is almost 4 and is able to retract it and clean it when he was 3 1/2.
