I have a COLD! Z-Pack anyone?
UGh I woke up today with a cold - sore throat, post nasel drip, eye sockets hurt...no fever....I called the DR and he called in a Z Pack for me.
Has anyone taken one while pregnant? I would rather take nothing, but I have a tendancy to have these things turn into bronchitis if I'm not careful....
Thanks for any thoughts/insight!

I took it with my last pregnancy when I was around 15 weeks. Everything turned out fine. Feel better!

I believe Zithromax is a category B drug so is okay. I took Zithromax drops with my first pregnancy for pink eye and everything was okay. This cold could just be viral though and in that case antibiotics wouldn't help.

I guess if its just a cold and not an infection (ie no long standing fever) I would be inclined to wait it out but obviously that would be your doctors call (mine is very anti- antibiotic hehe)

I am 39 weeks preggo and last week had bronchitis. Doc gave me z-pack and it immediately helped. It doesn't appear the baby at all!
