Anyone's child starting kindergarten?
I'm so emotional about DS starting kindergarten. DS is a little nervous and excited. I can't believe my baby is going to start kindergarten in less than 2 weeks.

My youngest is starting. But she keeps saying I wish I started 60 days ago. Do I have to wait -why can't I go today. She will be fine... I am not sure how I will be.

My DS is!!. I'm excited and so nervous. I'm going to be an emotional mess!!! My little boy is such a big boy now!
He says he's excited, but I'm worried he's not going to be happy when the day actually gets here.

My son is starting (only child) and I am in complete denial... It hasn't hit me yet, but when it does, I am going to lose it.. I am not ready for it... He is ok with the idea some days..

I was also in denial until this week. We just finished getting his kindergarten supply list. He has an assessment test tomorrow. We meet teachers next week at open house and then he starts school sept 2.
I'm a wreck. DS goes, "it's ok, mommy. I still love you even though I am going to big boy school."

Awe.. I have been picking up his school supplies in bits and pieces.. He has orientation next week.. It will probably hit me then... I am not really sure how we are going to handle it until the first day..

My son is! I am excited, but the early learning center where all the kindergarten kids go in the district is at one school. DS was in IE and then at the preschool where the kindergarten is at so at least he will know the ropes already. Been going to the school since he was 3 and on a bus. Next year when he's in first grade and an entire new school I'll be a mess.

yup my first ds is and im so not ready and he doesnt seem to be to happy about it either...he has never been away from either me or his dad that long so we shall see. He did fine with half days so i hope he makes the move well

My DD is! I am a nervous wreck bc she has a peanut allergy!! She is very social though so I know she will be fine.

My son started this past Tuesday (we live down South). I was a nervous wreck, but he did great!
