I think my DS got it at either the 15 or 18 months visit. I don't remember anymore.

My dr normally does it at the 1yr visit. I have read 12-15 months is the standard.

My pediatrician gives it at 15 months along with 2 others. I refused it and have held off until now. DD is almost 2 1/2. She was sick at 18 months, then I had a breakdown over it in the office at 24 months. We were told we had to get it in June but DD got sick and was on a steroid. I'm about to be kicked out of the practice, but I'm going with my gut on this one. Don't need anyone to respond to that. It's just a feeling I have. I want to hold off until 3 or 4.

I was just at the ped yesterday and they have new guidelines in NYS for Kindergarten now. They need to have TWO doses of the MMR before entering Kindergarten now.
Along with a whole bunch of others.
So I will need to get DD her second round of MMR next year at her 5 year old well visit the summer before she starts K

Ok yeah I didn't know. They had a sign saying new regulations for Kindergarten entry. She had to get another dose of DTAP and Polio yesterday because that's another one they need like 4 or more doses of before school.
Interesting.
They told me I could get the MMR dose yesterday too but I figured I'd wait until next year since we have a year. Why give them all at once you know?
