Facebook - posting in Open Groups
I posted in a buy/sell group and a bunch of my friends who are not a part of that group "liked it" - so that means it showed up in their newsfeed! That is sooooooooo annoying! I don't want my friends seeing my posts like that!
Is it possible to post in groups like that without it being blasted on my friends wall!?!
I belong to a bunch of other groups - some are open and some are closed and I am afraid to post anything anywhere!
I know that I am safe in closed groups - but still makes me weary

Maybe ask the Admin of the group to make the page closed?

It will only post to your page if it is an open group. Closed groups will not appear to your friends in their newsfeeds. You might be able to see if there is a privacy setting in the settings bar.

I have been through this before. There is no setting. if you post in an open group, on someone's wall etc it will show up in your news feed and there is nothing you can do.
I could be wrong, but I researched it and came up with "your screwed".

The admin of that page has to change the setting from Open to Closed but only the admin can do that
