Abnormal nt scan

Did anyone who had a abnormal nt scan go on to have a healthy pregnancy? My measurement was a little thicker than it should be. They won't recommend anything until the blood results come back (7- 10 days! Ugh), and I'm driving myself sick with worry. Does anyone have any experience?

Not me, but my friends results came back abnormal even with the blood work. It came back there was a high change her ds would have downs. He's perfectly healthy. Try not to put too much stock into that. You still have to hear about the bloodwork and even then there is further testing you can do.

I had a normal measurement but the blood work came back with a "high" percentage for downs. Then my level 2 sono at 20 wks came back with two soft markers for possible chromosomal issues.

DD is 19 mos and healthy as can be! It's so, SO hard, but try not to worry!

My bloodwork came back with a possibility for downs. I had to have two materniT21 tests and one Verifi test (They couldn't get enough blood out of me it was miserable). It was the worst time ever...the waiting. It was SO hard. But my son is 100% healthy and happy.

This brings back memories......I had an abnormal NT scan....and the blood work wasn't much better. When you combined the blood work with the NT scan, I was 1:9 for downs. Also was told the baby had clubbed feet, extra digit, etc. Long story short, no clubbed feet, he did have a little digit hanging off his pinky.......but other than that he was totally fine. These tests make me crazy............they cause so much uneccessary stress during pregnancy........I'm sure everything is fine.
