1st bday…what to send in to daycare?
i want to send in some sort of treat for dd's first bday. I'm pretty health conscience and i do not give dd treats or food with added sugar. i know it's her bday and she will have cake etc., but I'm trying to think of something i can make or buy that is a treat but not awful. any suggestions?

I sent in stonyfield French vanilla yogurt with strawberries and blueberries and granola for topping.

1st bday…what to send in to daycare?
I sent in Ella's pouches. I figured there were babies in her class that were too young for other treats, so that was a safe bet. I also gave each baby one of the favors from her bday party.

I would ask the day care. There may be kids that have allergies and you would not want to bring something that one of the kids can't have

DS is allergic to strawberries, so I'd be careful about that. You should def ask the dc b/c they will know about allergies.

I know DS has had mini cupcakes or munchkins for his little friends first bdays and I was totally ok with that. It was a special treat, its not something he has all the time! But I guess fruit would work too!
We planned to bring in munchkins for his first bday, but he woke with a 103.5 temp that day and ended up staying home for that day and for the next week so we never got to celebrate in "school"
