IMHO they make this about wedding and not about the relationship.........time will tell.
Look if you have the oney to spend on the wedding you want, more power to you. Howevere I feel this is about the PARTY and not a marriage.
This video is showing off and saying "see how rich and powerful we are".
No one like a show off.
I was thinking the same thing- they clearly have high expectations about their big day (absurdly, insanely high but to each his own) so it makes me think that the marriage itself, no matter how solid, will pale in comparison.
They are clearly in love with themselves, and I was also expecting to see a lot more of her (isn't it supposed to be about the bride?   ) but it really seemed to be all about him.

Are they somebody? That video had a pretty high production value........I can't imagine your average person putting something like that together.
I guess it was a well done video but it's not something I would do. Just seems a little self involved but then nothing surprises me about people anymore these days.

They are both attorneys! He is a corporate litigation attorney. Pretty funny Part of me thinks its cool, and part of me thinks it douchey. Is it tongue in cheek?

Eh... if you have stupid money I guess you can pull it off. Do I think it's a bit much and over the top?! Yes! I also think half these celebs or wanna be celebs are (especially the real housewives of wherever). 
I don't think it's the next thing. I just hope these two put more into their relationship than they are in just this STD video. 
BTW - I have seen a really awesome "thank you" video a family friend made for their wedding. He is also in the film industry and has done some short films. We were lucky to have him film our wedding.

 No, I feel the same way, but just didn't want to write it out. Never heard STD b4 LIW. There was an episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine that made fun of the acronym.

As an attorney, I cant imagine Weil Gotshal is pleased with this video (WGM is the corporate firm where the future groom works). Both of them clearly dont care about the public image they are portraying with this video.

i don't think it's really any different than that proposal that went viral not too long ago.
i like it. I don't think its a waste of money if you have the money. I think the wedding would actually be a blast to attend.

If you got the money, why not. It looked like fun and who knows..maybe someone in their family does videos or films. They look like a fun couple and the wedding should be a blast. Of course they look full of themselves but I'm sure the first person to ever do a picture STD magnet looked the same way lol. Now it's more the norm.
