Chicken Kidz consignment event?

Has anyone gone to the Chicken Kidz consignment event ? It's in riverhead this weekend- tomorrow is the last day. My friend asked me to go with her. I am interested in seeing if there are any outside toys door DS for the summer. Is there typically good stuff, not junky? How are the prices?

I went this afternoon and only found one bathing suit for my son. My son is three and there wasn't much for his age group. There were lots of baby toys, but I didn't see any outdoor toys. It looked like most of the good stuff was gone already. I was disappointed. I was told that a lot of stuff will be half off on Sunday.

Tons of stuff went yesterday. We got some good stuff this morning but by the time we left most of the good stuff was gone. The Kidz Kloset event is the weekend of the 4th, might want to try there instead.

the first time i went i made out great on half price sunday. ive been there two times since and usually make out ok but not as great as the first. next time im going to go the preview day as a new mom. this time i didnt go because i just had dd2.
take the ride you may find something.

I think the good stuff gets bought up at the pre-sale. I have been in the past on Saturday morning right when they opened, and never found that much. Prices are made by the people selling, so some stuff was grossly overpriced. I also find the woman that runs it to be really rude to be honest.

I went at 9:00 and was out in 15 minutes. Nothing good was left, and stuff that I would have considered was overpriced IMO (a tractor for a sandbox for $20)

They weren't kidding when they said consider leaving kids w dad. It was pretty cramped. I didn't have a choice I had to bring DS But he was great.

That's what I'm worried about at the Deer Park consignment- I am anticipating it will be women fighting over the "good" stuff (I saw an argument today,)

Oh well, it was a nice drive and now I know to go earlier.

A friend of mine went Friday night's presale because she was a seller, she made out GREAT.

I went on Friday for the Baby Bump presale...I was mainly looking for some clothes for DD (4t) and didn't find anything for her, but I found a boat load of stuff for my DS (who isn't born yet). I got some Old Navy stuff for $2 each with tags on them! I wasn't looking for toys, but it did seem that most toys had been sold the night before. I know they had some Moby's for $9, Nursing Covers for $5 and there was even a brand new Baby Bullet in box for $33 (sold the first night).

I've always gone on the presale day and left with great deals. This year I went even earlier, on Thursday, because my mom is a seller and got tickets. We made out great. She went back on Saturday just to look around and said there was a significant amount of things sold from Thursday.
