If you plan an outdoor birthday party do you do a rain date?
I'm planning an outdoor birthday party for DS. Do you include a rain date? It has rained on his first and second birthday. Luckily those were all indoor parties.
Also, if you do a rain date, do you do the following day or the following weekend? TIA

I'm having my DDs 3rd bday outside again this year on April 26, I put on the invite the rain date is the 27th. Normally I don't but with this crappy winter I just couldn't take the chance of having this big party being ruined lol I would have made the rain date the next weekend but there's too much going on so hopefully it doesn't rain. 2 says in a row

Thank you for the response. I think I'll do the same. I don't want to take up 2 weekends in a row when there's so much going on every weekend.

Yes, for DS' 1st birthday we included a rain date, which was the next day, on the invites.
