Repost from Parenting... Favor ??

Posted this on Parenting as well, but looking for advise...



Figuring out what to give out for DS's 5th birthday. I plan on having a superhero theme at a local sports place. Originally thinking of getting big black and yellow flashlights and putting the bat symbol on the light and maybe having them personalized. I was also thinking of going to 5 Below and getting those big foam water shooters instead since his bday is the end of May. THoughts? WHat would you or your child rather get? I'd have a cute sperhero note attached to either with a saying from the birthday boy or something.

Last year for DS2's 2nd birthday we had it at our pool and gave out towels, which was a big hit.
I love the idea of one favor that would be useful.

I think the flashlight idea is huge. My boys would love that!!

I know you dont want to hear "either one" LOL but honestly - both are nice favors, I love 1 useful thing rather than a bag of junk. You cant go wrong either way - kids will like both of those items :)

Love the flashlight idea. Even my DDs love flashlight play.
