I haven't seen it but I heard someone describe it as just watching 2 people floating around in space for 2 hours lol. Not a great review.

Pretty much, yes. And the ending to me, was somewhat comical and extremely unrealistic!
I would be a horrible film critic b/c everyone would obviously disagree with me.

I thought the movie was really good, except the ending. Like tray831 said, very unrealistic.

There wasn't much story to it, but I found it really intense.
I don't do well with open spaces as it is. . . I couldn't breath for the first half of the movie.

I loved it. I found it very tension filled and I thought the movie flew by. I was really into it.
Of course, on the whole, it was totally unrealistic for so many reasons but I still think it was entertaining.

I was so bored. I googled the ending halfway through watching and just had it play in the background. I couldn't devote any more of my attention to it.

We rented it over the weekend because of all the awards it won. I wasn't impressed and yes I was bored. I don't get all the hype.

It wasn't much for story, but if you liked the movie, it was because it was visually stunning.
I liked the end; I thought it made sense - it symbolized her rebirth.

I don't think I found have found it as gripping if I watched it on a TV. It was definitely more of a visual movie.

I watched this on a plane... So for me it was realistic because I hate flying and I felt that heaviness in my chest when she was turning at that one point.
I thought it went pretty quick. It was only an hour and a half. So this movie showed 3 times on my flight.
Once was enough though.

I didn't see it but I think its a movie you have to watch see in the theater only.
My MIL saw it in 3D and thought it was great. My parents just rented it and said it was boring.

As pp said, this movie should be watched in a theater and also in 3D to appreciate the special effects.I loved it for the 3D effects.

It kept me watching however I felt so let down when it was over. Like really thats it? It was a visual movie not much of substance.
Spoiler......
At the end when she crashes into the water and shes trying to get out and the pod is filling up, I look over at my my husband (who had already seen it) with this you have to be kidding me look and he says she drowns....He knows how to push my buttons, I would have really been pissed. That would have been the only thing I could think of to make this movie worse!!

I mean, the only two other characters die early on in the movie. You know how long the movie is. Obviously, Sandra Bullock's character was going to escape every situation before the end or the movie would've been over.
