Kids table at Christening
Going to have an extra table at my DD's christening as there will be a lot of kids. Was thinking of coloring books and crayons and putting them on the table? Anything else that may occupy them? (will not be getting separate entertainment)

Mini play dough. Maybe some simple board games or blocks.

Foam crafts are a good idea.
My SIL had also tattoos and the kids had fun putting them all over themselves.
She also put DJ-like props out (glasses, hats). There was no DJ, but they played iPod so the kids danced wearing the stuff.

That worked for Haileys Bday party. They will occupy themselves. I think everyone is obsessed with having activities for kids.

I just hit the dollar store for a few coloring/activity books, markers and puzzles. Many of the things weren't even used/opened. I agree, most kids will occupy themselves with playing and just being together.

I ordered 3 crafts from oriental trading. A "stain glass" cross that is colored with crayons, foam religious peel and stick craft, and religious scratch craft. Kept them busy!

Don't go too crazy. We put out all that stuff and none of the kids used it anyway! They usually find ways to occupy themselves.
