Glucose test tomorrow
Mildly freaking out. Really hoping I don't have GD. I am going for a two hour test which is diagnostic so at least I never have to go back. Can I drink water in the am? Do I wait until my next appt on Tues to find out results?

Not sure about the two-hour. I had the one hour and I could eat and drink the morning of. And don't stress too much! I was SO nervous for mine (it was the week of Thanksgiving...pie ) and my blood sugar was 85.

I would ask your DR if you can eat. My dr wanted me fasting for the 1 hour. They are all different.

Glucose test tomorrow
I couldn't eat/drink for my 1 hour. I did have a sip or 2 of water. The drink wasn't terrible and I was allowed a half cup of water after it. Still waiting on my results.

Glucose test tomorrow
I hyped it up so much in my head. It really wasn't terrible at all. Except for the lemon lime. That was bad. Orange was decent.

i just did the 3 hr test last tuesday and the dr called me with my results today.
i was told nothing to eat after midnight and water was ok.
its really not that bad. good luck!

Glucose test tomorrow
You can drink water in the morning. I had two separate one hour tests (standard at my doctors office) and they were both pretty painless. The worst part is drinking the glucose drink in five minutes or less. Bring something to keep yourself busy.

Glucose test tomorrow
I was allowed to drink water in the morning but no breakfast. Bring something to occupy yourself. I thought the drink was nasty and it gave me the shakes. I didn't pass the one hour...passing was 135 and my level was 164. I refused the 3-hour (did my own research after the 1-hour and don't believe in its accuracy) and elected to journal my diet and prick my finger instead. My results have been great, and if all stays the same, I only have to do this for a few more days until the doctor clears me.

i'm making my appointment in the next week or 2 but my dr said just to eat sensible in the morning for breakfast no matter what - eggs, fruit, bagel with cream cheese. No pancakes or sweets

I was told no eating or drinking 2 hours prior to test. the drink is not bad i actully really like it lol its taste like those quater drinks from back in the day . well the orange ones at least ,its the whole sitting around and waiting is whats the worst part good luck
