Uppa Baby G-Luxe vs. Maclaren Quest

I lost my Maclaren Quest :( I put DS in the car and forgot to put the stroller back in and didn't realize it until a few days later! So mad at myself!

Sooo, now I'm in the market for a new stroller. I have a Joovy caboose - I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I use the caboose with both kids, and the Quest was my daughter's but I use it for my son now who I'm home with most of the time, and DD still uses it occasionally when I'm out with just her.

I think I just want another good umbrella stroller- I loved the quest, and I store it in my car - I'm in Brooklyn in a 3 floor walk up. I love that I can actually keep it on the floor of our backseat.

Sooo, now that i'm in the market for a new one, I always loved my Quest, but was just looking at the Uppa Baby - slightly less $ and I love that there's a pad that comes off for washing. My question is, does it sit upright completely? My DD HATED our fancy Bumbleride Indie because she couldn't sit straight up. Loved the Maclaren because she could. So, does the the G-Luxe sit straight up? Want to order online at Albee baby - they are having 15% off sale!

TIA, and sorry I'm so long winded!

I have the G-Luxe. It sits straight, very light and comfy. The only problem I had was with the front wheels jiggling all the time. I called uppa baby and they sent new ones to replace.

Thanks! Were the new wheels better, or was it the same thing?

I have the G Luxe and LOVE it! Its really light weight, easy to fold though it does take 2 hands. Before dd could walk or even stand on her own I could hold her on my hip and close it without a problem. Now that shes fully mobile its def easier.
I have to carry it up about 8 steps and I have done so with dd on my hip with no problems at all.
The padding is nice. And it does sit upright and what I absolutely love is it reclines! my dd will fall asleep if were out walking around for awhile so its great!
Basket is small but thats to be expected with an umbrelly stroller I bought an organizer thingy that works pretty well.
My wheels jiggle a bit too but nothing that concerns me, they are just not big heavy wheels like a full size stroller. They def arent heavy duty tires at all. But again its an umbrella stroller.

Nope! Fixed the problem and the customer service was so nice. The wheels were there the next day!
