When did u get your group b strep test?
Am 37.5 wks and my midwife still hasn't done it yet. She doesn't seem very concerned but since this is my 2nd, am worried about going into labor early and I really want to labor at home for as long as possible, not rush to the hospital..... TIA!

i would ask to have it done at your next appt

At urine done early an in two weeks at 36 wks I will get it again I have it this time with baby #3.

36w. I find it odd that they haven't done yours yet, especially since its your second. Does she realize that it wasn't done yet?

I would have it done. For some reason I tested Negative with my first pregnancy and then postive for my second pregnancy. I already tested postive for this pregnancy as well with one of my Urine samples.
I didn't go to the hospital super early last time. I went when my contractions where 5 min apart. They gave me one round of antibiotics. They where suppose to be two rounds, but I went really fast once I got to the hospital. Didn't have time.

When did u get your group b strep test?
Thanks for sharing! My midwife is really nice but she seems to be a little too laid back. I was supposed to have it done last week but she got pulled into 4 deliveries that week and it's been impossible to see her. She did come for a home visit and then we scheduled an office visit for this sat. But it's really only her doing everything. I understand but also kinda frustrated....
