Leaving your pediatric doctor?
What would make u consider leaving?
I can't stand the hour wait time every time and I don't feel that they are overly nice to my son. He's three years old and some is them act like he is bothering them! It annoys me. My husband doesn't want me to switch bc the office is like five minutes away from my house, but with #2 on the way, I feel like nows the time.
Also, how long would u travel for a ped?

It sounds like you should switch. That kind of wait would def make me consider switching.
I live 10-15 minutes from my Dds pediatrician.

Leaving your pediatric doctor?
The office staff at the place we used to go to was downright nasty. The doctor himself wasn't great with developmental delays, but a good medical doctor. I stayed at that practice WAY too long.

Leaving your pediatric doctor?
I wasn't trilled with my first DS's office. Not a problem with the docs but I couldn't stand the office. luckly my kid was rarely sick and then with Ds #2 came I switch and I can't believe I standed so long. MY new MD is soo good with developmental stuff and explaining things

I would switch! I drive about 15-20 mins to ours. But I almost always only wait less than 5 mins.

Leaving your pediatric doctor?
An hour wait would absolutely have me switching! There's no way I could deal with that. I live 15 minutes away and wouldn't really want to be any further than that.

Re: Leaving your pediatric doctor?
i would switch . I would never wait 1 hr to see a dr for a child. thats way too long for a child to have to wait. whats the point of being 5 mins away when you have such a long wait time?!

Leaving your pediatric doctor?
We switched around 9 months old. Didn't love the doctor. He was "eh" with my kid. He always seemed like I was bothering him no matter what I asked (and I hardly asked anything). He would talk to you about the exam etc. as he walked out the door of the room.
One day I just decided to call and have her immunization records sent to my house. Found someone else, starting going there and love them.
That old office still calls me with their automated info. It's been 2 years since we have been seen there. Strange.
